Guitarist fetish of Johnny Hallyday, as the aforementioned likes to call it, these two great men meet to the “Studios Way Ocean” of Los Angeles in March 1994 for the recording of “Rough Town”.
Robin and Johnny will not be left any more and one great friendship links them since now more than 13 years.
Robin Mesurier composes two tracks on this album:

- Fool for the blues Robin Le Mesurier and Paul Rafferty
Realized by Chris Kimsey and arranged by Steve Holroys, between the rock'n'roll and the blues, “Rough Town” is an event. Never Johnny Hallyday in 30 years of career had recorded an album in English language.
A series in concerts will be followed from there, of October 28 at November 01, 1994, in the mythical hall of “La Cigale” in Paris (1400 places). For these five exceptional concerts, the places were sold in less than 3 hours !
This tour will continue through Europe from the 4 to November 14 while crossing Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
Before the end of this 1994, “Rough Town” will be certified double gold with 200 000 exemplary of sold.
In April 1995, Robin meet again Johnny to Ramatuelle (France) in the villa of this last for the recording of the album “Lorada”. These meetings will finish with the Studio “Guillaume Tell” in Paris.
This album will be a great success and will be certified Platine.
4 months later, August 21, Robin begins the repetitions for Bercy with the Studios “Long Courrier” near “Porte de la Chapelle” in Paris. He will take the musical management.
This tour “Lorada Tour” begins in Bercy on September 12, 1995 per 20 shows from most electric. The two bonds “Are the chances gone” and “Fool for the blues”, composed by Robin, will be interpreted there.
The round will continue through all France, in Belgium and in Switzerland and will end on April 11, 1996 with the “Palais des Sports” of Dijon.
February 12, “Lorada Tour” will be seen decreed a Victoire of the music for the best spectacle of the year.
Robin and Johnny take again the route of July 12 (La Rochelle) at August 25 (Monte Carlo) for “Lorada Tour Eté 1996”.
November 24, 1996, Johnny Hallyday occurs for a single and exceptional show on the scene of Aladdin Theater in Las Vegas. 6 000 fans of the French icon will make displacement from France.
Robin is obviously present for this great moment of Rock'n'roll Roll.
Will follow the album “Destination Vegas” which will be a real success.
July 13, 1998, Robin and Johnny meet again in Los Angeles with the studios “Leeds” of North Hollywood to prepare the next tour.
After 3 evenings in September of a show of more grandiose at “Stade de France”, the tour “Allume le feu” moves in all France, in Belgium and Switzerland of October 02 at December 06, 1998.
In 1999, Robin takes part in the recording of two bonds for the album “Sang pour Sang”, Co-realized by David Hallyday and Pierre Jaconelli: “Si tu m'aimais” and “Partie de cartes”.
This album will be double gold disc as of its exit in September with nearly 240 000 pre-ordered exemplary and on December 20 will be certified Diamant for a million exemplary sold to reach two million exemplary later one year.
February 21, 2000, the bond “Partie de cartes” will form part with “Les larmes de gloire” of fourth CD single extracted from “Sang pour sang”.
In May 2000, in Los Angeles, Robin records with Johnny Hallyday the bond “Blues Suede Shoes” for compilation “Good Rockin' Tonigt, The Legacy of Sun Records” which also gathers large standards interpreted by other great names such as Eric Clapton, Paul Mc Cartney, Bob Dylan…
It is on this same date that Robin again finds the way of the studios in Los Angeles to prepare the next series in concerts and it is on June 02 to Zenith of Toulouse which is given the kick off of immense “tour 2000”.
June 10 marks one very strong moment. The spectacle with place with the Eiffel Tower and this giant and free concert will gather more than 500 000 people.
June 15, it is with the “Parc de Sceaux” in front of 60 000 spectators that Robin will be festival for the 57 years of Johnny. At the end in the concert, many artists such as Paul Personne, Pascal Obispo, Jean-Louis Aubert, Patrick Bruel and so much of others invade the scene to sing “Happy birthday” begun again in chorus by the public.
From June 17 at August 25, Robin occurs on the mythical scene of Olympia and in alternation in the greatest French stadium and Europeans between the 8 and July 18.
February 17, 2001, this tournée is crowned of a victory of the music for the best musical spectacle of the year 2000.
In April 2003, Robin repeats in Los Angeles to prepare the “Tournée des stades 2003”.
The tour begins on May 24 at the Stadium from the East to Saint Denis - Réunion while passing by the “Parc des Princes” on June 15 for the concert anniversary 60 years of Johnny Hallyday to take end on August 3 with the Jupiter Temple de Baalbeck in Lebanon.
The end of this 2003 will be marked by a new round entitled “Plus près de vous” of October 27 at December 21.
April 10, 2006, Robin meet again Johnny in Los Angeles for the repetitions of the tour “FlashBack”.
June 02, 2006, it is the beginning of the tour with “Palais des Sports” of Paris; tour which will end on March 03, 2007 with the Zenith of Toulouse while passing by Belgium and Switzerland.
